I'm back from a life-giving experience in Ethiopia...still trying to figure out how to put it into words. when i do, they will be here. Until then, I'm happy to give thanks for 5 years of marriage to my husband. i'm not going to write any deep thoughts about marriage. i'm still far from feeling like i know much about it! but i do know that it's sometimes hard, sometimes challenging, but always refining. God uses it in lots of mysterious ways to draw me nearer to Him. I'm so grateful for God's provision and for Dan- and looking forward to continuing our journey together.

"Intercession through pictures"

photograph taken by Matthew Hensley on "fatherless generation" found HERE
(check out my regularly updated blog)
Yesterday I visited
Yobel Market's new store in Old Colorado City.
It's so wonderful...please, if you're in the Colorado Springs area, check it out!!
I bought a new magazine there called
"Eye See" which highlights issues on justice, stories from around the world, organizations making change, photography, and more. I came across this photographer (Matthew Hensley) in the magazine. His mission is really cool and has got me thinking! Some of his ideas:

Relationship through photography
Felloship through relationship
Chirst through fellowhip.
----------------
Intercession through pictures
Change through Intercession
Action through change

His mission is based off the 31st Proverb: "Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitue. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and the needy."

It's great stuff...to see more, check out his website!
